Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile these pets weekly from local shelters.

“Marcell has not had an easy time finding his forever home, but his sweet disposition shows he knows it’s out there! He originally came to the shelter filthy and sick; now he’s clean and healthy, and looking for the right, loving home to call his own. Marcell is described by volunteers as a laid back, sweet, “purrfect” gentleman who bonds easily to anyone he meets. He is friendly and affectionate towards people as well as other cats. He would do best in a home where he receives the love and attention he’s been missing. Marcell is approximately 10 years old and is neutered. Marcell deserves a wonderful home – is it yours? Come and meet him at Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center, 7315 Muncaster Mill Road, Derwood, MD 20855, (240) 773-5900.”

“Check out sweet Gladys! She is a 10-year-old Shepherd mix, fully house trained, and weighs about 50 pounds. Miss Gladys is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. According to her foster mom and everyone who meets her, she is super lovable and a very good dog. Her foster mom has been working on her leash manners and teaching her basic commands. Gladys lives in a home with a toddler, with whom she is very gentle and patient.. She does very well meeting other dogs and she is fine with cats too. She is a little shy with people at first but she warms up quickly and bonds to her humans. She is relatively low energy. She likes her walks but also likes to hang out on the sofa, or in a comfy dog bed! Plus, she rocks the one ear up, one ear down look like no other! She would do well with any family who wants to give a senior girl a great rest of her life. As you can see, she is very good when she has her bath and nail trim as well!! You can find out more about Gladys and apply to bring her home, at www.grayfaceacres.org.”

“Sassy Salali is looking for her forever home. Salali was brought back to the U.S. from Kuwait, and she just knows she can find her perfect Queendom here! Salali is 2 years old, with a sweet-natured and playful personality. She’s also very vocal, and plans to share her thoughts and dreams with you! Salali is scared of dogs and loud noises due to the rough nature of her life in Kuwait, and would thrive in a calm, patient household as the only pet. Read more about Salali here: http://kingstreetcats.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=11394925  If you are interested in meeting HRH Salali, please email: [email protected]

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
