Life of Riley Pet Hotel & Spa opens in Adams Morgan

2224 18th Street, NW

This is the former Sawah Diner space.

Life of Riley’s website says:

“Family owned and operated, Life of Riley Pet Hotel & Spa is a home away from home for the four-legged members of your family. Our staff members are professional, diligent, and caring animal lovers who form special bonds with the dogs they care for. Whether it’s daycare, grooming, or boarding that you are interested in, we promise you and your dog a unique, luxurious, safe, and fun experience.

Our hotel suites are professionally designed and custom built. We have two playrooms separated by size and temperament, which are streamed on our webcams 24/7. The playrooms are supervised at all times by our mindful daycare supervisors. With electrically operated tables and tubs, our grooming salons are state of the art and designed with your dog’s comfort and safety in mind. All of our groomers are professionals of the highest caliber with decades of experience under their belts. We use all-natural grooming products from the Mauro Pet Care range to make sure your pups feel as great as they look after their day at the spa.”

826DC is a local nonprofit that offers free writing programs, homework help, and publishing opportunities for DC students ages 6-18, in our Columbia Heights writing center and in learning spaces across the city.

Paddlestar Galactica helps keep writing education 100% free and accessible for all of our students! It’s also extremely fun.

This year’s games will be Saturday, April 27th, 1 PM to 4 PM at SPIN DC. It’ll be a chaotic afternoon of ping-pong, costumes, terrible Battlestar Galactica puns, and good cheer. We’d love to have you join us!
