Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by two volunteers who compile the pets weekly from local shelters.

“This is Goldberry, a precious, tiny 11 year old Yorkie. This good, gentle boy just loves to be loved. If you have a vacant lap he will just crawl right in and make himself at home. Goldberry has a good appetite, nice house manners and he likes his daily walks. Being a senior pooch he will appreciate a few more potty breaks during the day. Goldberry does well with other dogs and he is respectful of his foster home’s resident cat. What a nice dog! Goldberry is looking for an adult home where he can get lots of love and receive regular grooming to keep his coat in good shape. Goldberry is really a happy little guy with the most adorable waggy tail. To meet this sweetie pie please contact his foster mom at [email protected] ****As an added bonus, if you’re over the age of 50, his adoption fee will be waived as part of HRA’s Boomer’s Buddies program”

“Sweet and petite, Iris came to 4Paws from BARCS (Baltimore City Animal Shelter), after being found as a stray. Iris is gentle and friendly, and has a big heart in a small frame! She is blind in one eye but doesn’t let that stop her; however, she is also positive for feline leukemia and needs a home as a single cat. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to give Iris a loving home, and/or if you have questions about feline leukemia.”

“Tuxie is a very handsome 2 year-old medium-haired boy with a friendly disposition. He may be a little shy at first, but quickly warms up and becomes a loving and affectionate kitty. He came to 4Paws through a partner rescue group which took in many cats from an overcrowded home where the owner could no longer properly care for them. Since he came from a multi-cat household he should be OK with another friendly kitty in his forever home, once properly introduced. Tuxie has been neutered, tested negative for FIV and FELV, is current on vaccinations, and has been micro chipped. Please contact [email protected] for more information on adopting Tuxie!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
