Awesome picture of this dog in a rainbow-colored tutu at the Pride Parade. An avid reader of POPVILLE and a dedicated dog owner who spoils his dog, I would never take my dog to Pride Parades. The weather is too hot and the pavement is scorching hot. The crowds too congested. The noise deafening. Broken glass and debris all over the pavement. If you can find a shady spacious and quiet spot for your pup to gaze upon the parade, go for it. Otherwise, leave the dog at home to chill out with the AC blasting! :-)

LOVE these cuties! Pride (and pets) remind me why I love DC.

Cute pups, but I never understand why people think it’s a good idea to drag their dogs to these things where they have to walk in the heat on hot, hot pavement and have little access to shade. Horrible way to treat an animal. All the ones I saw looked miserable.
