It’s no secret that we love rooftop decks, and while DC may not be known for its soaring skyscraper views, it does have a few hidden oases high above that offer unique vantage points of our beautiful city. Here are some of our favorites:
Harbour Square: 560 N Street SW, SW/Waterfront
Tucked along the Potomac in SW, you’ll be glad you made the trip when you see the panoramic views of downtown. The water and the monuments are the perfect backdrop for an evening of relaxation, while the serene surroundings make it feel like a true escape from the city.
Available listings in Harbour Square
Potomac Plaza: 2475 Virginia Ave NW, Foggy Bottom
Located in the heart of Foggy Bottom, this coop has a rooftop terrace that overlooks the Potomac and Arlington. Quiet and centrally located, it’s the best of both worlds! What could be better than dinner in the city and a laid back evening above the water?

City Vista: 475 K St NW, Mount Vernon
City Vista, in the heart of Mount Vernon Triangle, is home to a few apartment buildings that all share one thing in common: an amazing rooftop terrace! Take advantage of the great, wide open views of the city, with downtown to the south and the quiet residential neighborhoods directly to the north.

The Cairo: 1615 Q St NW, Dupont Circle
There are rooftop decks, and then there’s the deck at The Cairo. Not only does this Dupont Circle gem offer great views — as the tallest residential building in the city, it’s views are literally unbeatable. You have a fully panoramic view of the city from the top of The Cairo!

City Center: 925 H St NW
Two words: roof park. The rooftop at City Center has the views your social media account is lacking, plus lush greenery to really help you relax. Soft lighting, fire pits, and comfy seating make it a dream spot to kick back on a nice evening!
