Fundraiser for Capital City Public Charter School Families Displaced by Huge Fire Saturday Morning

“Dear PoPville,

I am a teacher at Capital City Public Charter School. Four of our families were displaced by the apartment fire this weekend at 13th and Peabody and literally escaped with nothing but the clothes on their backs. I started a gofundme to help with the many expenses they will be facing. Please donate if you can!

Three families from Capital City Public Charter School were affected by an apartment fire at 13th and Peabody St. early on June 24th. The fire started before dawn and residents escaped through smoke-filled hallways and down ladders with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
