“Adams Morgan Movie Nights kicks off Tuesday 5/16 at a new location — Walter Pierce Park — a short walk across the bridge from Woodley Park Metro. The renovation of Marie Reed school forced the change but the series will be back at Marie Reed in 2018.
Grab a blanket at sundown and enjoy it. We’ll screen the critically acclaimed animated feature Moana.
Winning by a wide margin in our online poll, we’ll be kicking off this year’s series with Moana: In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches an impetuous Chieftain’s daughter’s island, she answers the Ocean’s call to seek out the Demigod to set things right.
Kids are welcome, but please no pets or alcohol.
