Your Afternoon Animal Fix

by Prince Of Petworth March 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm 14 Comments

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 2 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible. If you’re not using an iphone any size is fine.

OMG Jack is the cutest pittie I have ever seen!

  • KPS

All beautiful, but Jack and his ears are STUNNING.

    • Angry Parakeet

Jack’s ears are pit bull-perfect. Were they cut like that when he was a puppy?

Jack’s human, here. God no!! He was born with those ears.

Lucy is a very pretty kitty! Is Lucy part Maine Coon? The ear fur, paw fur, floofy tail, and overall proportions make me wonder. She looks so much like my 8-month-old kitten (found on the street, didn’t have any idea what kind of cat she was, but she is now starting to look a lot like a Maine Coon).

Thank you! Lucy’s vet also suggested she may have some Maine coon in her. I don’t think she’s as big as a coon would be but she’s high on the fluff scale.

Look a Miss Maisy’s cute little nose! squeee!
    Jack takes a good picture.
I hope Emi and Lucy become besties soon. They would make a great cuddle puddle.

Jack and Maisy are very cute! I love Jack’s coloring in particular.
    .
Love the picture of Emi and Lucy. Emi looks like she is a Calico with White (or maybe dilute Calico with White?)- just like my Fiona (an HT rescue). Fiona also has the typical Calico-type tail and very similar color pattern on her head, but she is mostly white with some random Calico splotches. Interesting to see another one! Side note: I love that you adopted an 8 year old cat. :-)

Thank you. Emi is indeed calico plus she’s has Siamese blue eyes. Her spots have underlying tabby markings in both colors. I was definitely pulled in by her sad story and glad to give her a new home. She repays me with the toy mice she brings to bed every night. Lucy is slowly accepting her fate.

OMG Jack the Pibblepotamus! I love your instagram.

Came here to say the same thing!

Miss Maisy is such a pretty kitty! What beautiful eyes, and what a beautiful pink nose!
    .
Emi and Lucy look like they should be sisters. Sorry to hear Lucy doesn’t agree with this assessment.

Jack has some seriously squishy and adorable ears. I want to squish them and kiss his nose :)

  • Sarah

Miss Maisy is adorable, love her bell!
Jack looks like a good pup, sits well!
Emi and Lucy are too adorable! Is this Lucy’s first time sharing her home? My kitty doesn’t play well with others either, I adopted her when she was 7 and she is now 15! Sending BFF vibes to Emi and Lucy!
