    This weekend I saw another one like this, on 13th St NW around Jefferson-ish. Someone had taken out a telephone pole and a stop sign.

    If you choose to drive a multi-ton piece of metal fast enough to do that, you should be locked up, and not allowed to drive for many years.

    I thought utility poles were designed to break when hit with enough impact. Perhaps that’s only along interstates where you might expect people to be traveling at a higher rate of speed, and less likely in a city?
