Love my Streets up 14th St! They’re a little pricey for some stuff, but so convenient and rarely picked over. The deli/hot food and sushi is nice, too! Hope they do well here.

I’ll concur that Streets is a pretty awesome smaller market — and I like that they stock some stuff you’d find at an asian supermarket like shrimp snacks, tteokbokki, and lemongrass stalks.

This is fantastic news. I’ll be stopping here multiple times per week on my way to/from work.

Is there an opening date yet? I take Pilates there and can’t wait to be able to pick up dinner on my way out.

  • You Street

Pizza?! Can we get some of that at the 14th Street location? Pretty please?!

  • Mug of Glop

    Absolutely I will!

This concept sounds like Union Market that just opened on 9 TH St (convention center)

Actually, Streets is more like a smaller Whole Foods, but also has more mainstream groceries and prepared foods as well. I think Union Market at 9th is going by a “locally sourced” theme, but I have to say I found it pretty barebones and not at all reasonable. Streets is more like a high-end local corner market.

I wish this had been here when I lived in this building! I loved the building and the location was very convenient to work and 14th St., but immediate area lacked a convenience store. I also would have been happy if a neighborhood bar/restaurant had opened in that space. It’s not exactly a “desert,” but with Whole Foods several blocks away, this is a welcome addition!
