I did not realize they had taken over the old Domku space. Only went there once back when it was still Twisted Horn, but I thought it was great.

Thanks for your support. BTW, as a NY and Boston transplant, I love your food. Only wish you would open something closer to Petworth.

  • Business HERO! Thanks, Jamie for all you do in the city to live you values. Our business should use our visibility and voice to stand strong with causes that REALLY matter. Precisely why we’ll be having more drinks (Martini’s to be specific) at Hanks:)

This is too bad. I liked Hank’s. But I doubt I will be back. I never want to spend money at a business who is giving MY money away to THEIR charity. If I wanted to give money to any of these organizations (which I do not), then I would send them money! If they have all this extra money, I’d much rather they just lower their prices by 1% and let me decide about my charitable giving. Just sell oysters. Nobody gives a damn about your politics. I really hate it when businesses do this sort of thing…

“Nobody gives a damn about your politics.” I think you’re mistaken on that count — especially in a city like D.C.

    • Anonemuss

Oh well, I doubt you and your ilk will be missed!

Is this serious? I’m sure you don’t agree with the shampoo he buys either or his choice in vacation destinations, but he doesn’t have to give YOU the profits that go to that either. Get the hell over yourself. If you do not support the charities fine, you are wrong but feel free not to go. But saying he should give YOU that money? The hell man, so greedy.

Her. Jamie Leeds is a woman.

And hey, boycott all you want. One fewer idiot at a bar I love.
