About a month ago we learned that the Fannie Mae HQ building and property had sold to Roadside Development and NORTH AMERICA SEKISUI HOUSE, LLC.
“The acquisition includes a 228,000 square foot building and approximately 10 acres of land.”

The original report called for a shopping mall as well as luxury condos but now Roadside Development has set up a website to engage neighbors:
“In anticipation of Fannie Mae’s departure, our team is excited to work with the community early on in planning the future uses of the site.”
