  • I work for my money

Wow, who’s going to pay that?

    • Anon

      Daddy.

      • Leeran

I mean, sure, but even then, wouldn’t you just go for something above-ground for this price?

        • Anon

To be fair, prices for decent/recently updated 1BRs are all at or higher than the asking price for this unit. Some folks also like the easy ingress/egress that comes with living in a row house vs. a large condo building. Oh, and space. ~$2,600 gets you all of 5-600 sqft in this area, while this place claims 900.

How on earth is this place 900 square feet? There’s not even room for a dining table.

Huge bed/bath? Beats me – I just referenced the number in the ad. Though I believe that ~900sqft seems like a completely reasonable figure for the entire basement. Now, how much of that space is closed off to HVAC/water, I don’t know.

Sure doesn’t look 900 sq ft to me.

    nnnnnope

I love watching the basement unit renters/sellers price gouge their apartments.

$2,600 is hilarious but concerning to me that renters always push the price to extremes. Why not go to an above ground apartment at a new building with a rooftop pool? My two cents

Because then you’d miss out on the “coolest” Ikea furnishings?!

  • raffi

Looks like a nice apt, and being furnished is worth something, but dang- that’s steep, and looks on the small side, is there any storage space? Basement units can be very nice, I lived in a spacious one for awhile and actually kind of miss it. Maybe it was just a beautiful time in my life…sigh

do the bikes come included with rent? give me a break….could easily get a two br in the same area for that price. or minimum an above ground unit

    • anon101

Yup. $2600 for a basement 1BR is stupidly expensive.

  • No Bikes

I’ll give you $1400 and call it a deal.
