“Brookland’s Finest is hosting a Halloween pumpkin painting contest on Sunday, October 30 on the restaurant patio. The contest will be split into three age groups: 5 years of age and below, 6-10 years old, and 10 years and above. All supplies, including the pumpkins, paint and paint brushes will be provided. At the end of the contest, judges from Brookland’s Finest will select a winning pumpkin from each age bracket, and prizes include items like a free meal and dessert, a coloring book and a Brookland’s Finest t-shirt. Throughout the contest, which will last from 3:30-5:30 p.m., happy hour ($4 Rail Drinks, $5 select drafts, $6 house red or white) will be provided for the parents and adults.“
