Your Afternoon Animal Fix

by Prince Of Petworth August 26, 2016 at 3:20 pm 15 Comments

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 2 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible. If you’re not using an iphone any size is fine.

Needed these today! What awesome photos!

  • anonymouse_dianne

What ever happened to Earl’s ears? He’s adorable btw

    • textdoc

I’m guessing the photo is just at an angle where his ears don’t show.
      .
      He is indeed adorable!

      • anonymouse_dianne

You’ve not seen dogs come into a shelter, I’m guessing (said with a smile)

        • textdoc

          I haven’t. Poor pup. :(

    • Mary

He’s ours. Had such terrible ear infections when rescued by City Dogs that his ears had to be removed, inside and out. But he’s a happy one now, and obviously, adorable.

      • textdoc

Awww, poor little guy! So he is now deaf? Bless you for adopting a special-needs animal. (And for adopting an animal who’s “different”-looking.)
        .
Glad to see he is happy and doing well despite having had a rough time of things earlier.
        .
        Is he a Boston terrier?

        • Mary

Yep, he’s a Boston and about 90% def – only can hear certain higher frequencies. All that said, he’s a remarkably easy dog and very sweet, so taking him on turned out to be a pretty good gig.

      • FridayGirl

Oh no! He’s so adorable though. Thank you for adopting him!

  • KPS

    Sweeties!

  • distritera

Earl and Toby are such sweethearts!
That picture of Murray is priceless. Looks like a cartoon come to life!

    • Contessa of Cleveland Park

How far can Murray spit the seeds?!

      • cMaryc

In a temper, he’ s been known to spit tacks. Seeds, heck: 20 paces.
        :)
        Actually, he’s often a sweetie.

  • mdtodc

    They are all adorable
FYI, please do not take this the wrong way just a heads up. Be careful because the seeds in watermelon are poisonous to cats!
