It’s also Eric Hilton’s house, although I think he rents it out at the moment. I use to live in the beige building next door and my apartment shared a wall with his studio which made for some interesting conversations with him about how loudly he should play his music at 4am on a weeknight!

It is always amazing to me how many of these I vaguely know, to within a few houses, the block, or at least the street. i realize that DC has a lot of neighborhoods never pictured on here, and that Dan probably walks around the same NW neighborhoods I walk and drive in, but still, I’m surprised my brain has retained so much of the visuals around me in the ten years I’ve lived in DC.
