    Can’t see the pics but all I know is this price is still more than the mortgage on a 3b/3.5ba house we just bought in Petworth; with less than 10% down! Glad we’re done with the renting game.

      Well now you’re stuck in Petworth if the bubble bursts but yes this is a tad pricey for a 2 bd rental

    Unless the sq footage is massive, this is about $1k overpriced.

    Heck no. That’s my mortgage after the tax deduction, and I have a larger home that also has parking and a roof deck. Someone is smoking something really good if they pay that much for Kenyon and Georgia…

    I am fond of Park View, but c’mon… that price is crazy.
    Couldn’t you get a comparable 2-bedroom apartment pretty much anywhere in D.C. for $3,800/month?

    Big. Fat. No. That is insane. Unless it comes with a butler who’s going to iron my newspapers in the morning and brush my teeth before I go to bed, hell. no.

    Can’t imagine it doesn’t have rats and/or roaches given it is next door to Morgan’s Seafood. That place needs to be condemned!

      The people in the shop seem nice enough, but seriously, there are massive structural issues with that building and it sure doesn’t look like I’d want to buy anything from them. Also, I swear to god I’ve seen a big huge dog a couple of times on the roof of that ramshackle wreck of a building right next door- am I imagining it??

        Nope! Textdoc can probably find previous threads about the pup. They’ve made a sort of dog run up there. I used to say hi to him walking to the school from work lol

    The sad thing is that this person probably needs to get close to this price to cover their PITI. Lots of dumb borrowed money chasing dumb borrowed money.

    That price is beyond ridiculous. Me and my partner just left Park View just a couple blocks from there at Lamont and Georgia in a swank 10 y/o condo building and paid $2400 for an approx. 800 SF 4th floor (elevator) 1BR+large loft den with 2 full baths and parking included with a gym. And we left for a slightly smaller nice abode in Adams Morgan for 2100. That price is RIDICULOUS for what you get and so much on the market in that area.

    Yeah we pay less than that for a 3 bdrm townhouse 1 block away. And I’ve always thought this apt building looks cheap/poorly constructed. Not sure where that price is coming from.
