Your Afternoon Animal Fix

by Prince Of Petworth March 22, 2016 at 3:25 pm 9 Comments

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 2 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible. If you’re not using an iphone any size is fine.

“Jack of Woodley Park, was my best buddy of 13 years and just passed away this fall. We have missed him every day since. He was the sweetest boy and a gentle giant; he was a big guy but super sweet and sensitive. Veterinarians fell in love with him at first sight, one even calling him “hunky.” We like to think of him as the Tom Selleck of felines.”

“This is Charlotte (a Pom mix) in Eckington striking one serious pose before running around with joy!”

“Orville and Wilber, brothers, NOMA residents, Washington Humane Society rescues, and lovable terrors.”

Oh, why can’t we keep them longer? Jack looks so lovable and, yes, hunky. So sorry for your loss. Maybe he’s buddies now with my two departed tabbies. I miss them dearly, too!

    Thanks for posting Charlotte’s photo!

I’m sorry to hear about Jack; he was a very handsome cat.

My condolences on Jack — I like the anecdote about a veterinarian calling him “hunky.” ;)
Glad that Charlotte had fun in the snow!
Love the pic of Orville and Wilbur cuddling!
