Best views in DC…..when you aren’t in your basement unit.

In all fairness, it does say “best views from the roof deck”

Was going to say the same thing. I hate it when I see ‘best views in DC’ and then you find out the unit is in the basement or has a window that literally faces a wall with no light. I’m not getting up in the morning to go to the ROOFDECK.

        Especially for 2800/mo

A thousand square feet sounds huge to me, but the pics make it look cramped.

I’m having trouble believing this is 1000+ sf.

Yeah, that second bedroom is way too small for this place to be 1000+ ft2, unless, of course, most of that is eaten up by useless hallways and “nooks.” WAY back in the day I looked at a place advertised as 1000 ft2 (in a one-bed, so it should have been massive), and when I paced it out, it was, actually, about that big. Problem was, there were random walls everywhere so none of the living spaces were actually a usable size (like, couldn’t fit a regular-size couch in the living room or anything bigger than a full bed in the bedroom, and it had a tiny galley kitchen where knocking down a non-load-bearing wall would have allowed for a large, eat-in kitchen). And, that was also a basement, so all the random walls made most of the rooms *really* dark! However, that was in an OOOOOOOOLD rowhouse, so the owners didn’t have as much control over the layout (barring semi-major construction) as a newer building, built so that basement spaces are meant to be lived in like this one, does…

Maybe they’re referring to the roof deck again.

Are there any windows in this unit??

Terrible pictures, and not just cause it’s full of stuff. The quality is poor and they do nothing to show anything good about the unit.

2100 block of Vermount Ave. NW does not exist. The entrance to the site is on Florida Ave. NW.

    • Well if we’re being sticklers – Vermount Ave doesn’t exist at all…
