Your Afternoon Animal Fix

by Prince Of Petworth August 21, 2015 at 3:30 pm 9 Comments

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 2 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible. If you’re not using an iphone any size is fine.

“Poppy in Columbia Heights sets an example for all of us. A nap and a visit to the Afternoon Animal Fix helps a kitty cope.”

“I was a day late treating him, but Buddy of Brookland really enjoyed his birthday cake courtesy of Metro Mutts.”

We got some cute ones today. But, I cannot tell a lie—Puddles from yesterday still has my heart (along with probably everyone else who viewed his/her pic).

I went to look up Puddles’ adoption information. That face will stick with me for a while. Today’s furballs are A+ though!

Puddles is one very cute puppy!

By all means, adopt away! Buddy is a rescue, as well. I couldn’t get a rescue around here to adopt a compatible dog to me (I have fairly severe allergies, so I needed a low-allergy dog…his primary breeds are schnauzer and poodle, both low-allergy…he only makes me itch a *little*), so I actually rescued him from nearby my hometown and flew him home to DC with me in cabin (the adoption fee + carry-on pet fee was less than what many rescues around here want for just the adoption fee).

Markus and Buddy are adorable! Poppy is doing what I’d like to be doing this weekend- relaxing!

  • Caroline

Marcus looks like he could be related to my Schnauzers– so cute! I love the stripey beard.

      Poppy is my spirit animal.
