Massive Yard Sale in Manor Park this Saturday

yardsale-map

From an email:

“Eighty (80) households in the NW neighborhood of Manor Park are holding DC’s largest yard sale on the morning of Saturday, July 18, from 7:00am-11:00am.

Thousands of items will be for sale, including antiques, books, clothing, furniture, children’s toys, household items, video games and more.

This event is the latest in a series of successful neighborhood yard sales that have occurred in Brookland and Shepard Park, which had 60 and 40 households respectively.

The event is organized by the Manor Park Citizens Association, which first formed in 1923 and developed the neighborhood’s reputation as a City of Homes.

Manor Park is the historic neighborhood that is bordered by Missouri Ave on the south, Georgia Ave on the west, Aspen St on the north and Blair Rd / North Capitol St on the east.

Details about the exact locations and variety of items for sale can be found on the MANORPARKDC.ORG website.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
