As you’ve seen in previous PoPville posts, 460 New York Avenue (a.k.a. 460NYA) is a brand-new, 11-story condominium tower being built on the site of a vacant warehouse in the Mount Vernon Triangle. Construction of the tower has now “topped out,” with the concrete frame finished, and work on the steel and glass façade and interiors are set to begin.

To celebrate this milestone, 460NYA will be throwing a “Live Elevated” celebration on Thursday, October 23, 5:30-7:30 p.m. — and you’re invited. Held at the McWilliams|Ballard D.C. Sales Center, 1402 14th Street NW, the celebration will serve up hors d’oeuvres and beverages, along with the chance to get a sneak peek at the amenities available to residents of this one-of-a-kind building going up in the heart of the district.

Amenities at 460NYA will include a rooftop terrace and community room, with built-in rooftop grills and dining areas; a game room with billiards table and views of New York Avenue and the Convention Center; storage units for every home; and a parking garage equipped with a lift parking system. The apartments themselves will feature expansive windows, contemporary kitchens with quart countertops and a choice of finishes, and wood plank flooring in a variety of colors.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
