From MPD:

“Traffic may be impacted in and around RFK Stadium on Saturday, June 21st and Sunday, June 22nd in conjunction with the Volkswagen Rallycross DC.

Motorists could encounter possible delays if operating in the vicinity of this event and may wish to consider alternative routes. The Metropolitan Police Department and the D.C. Department of Transportation also wish to remind motorists in the vicinity of this event to proceed with caution, as increased pedestrian traffic can be anticipated.”

From Events DC:

“A thrilling new track layout was unveiled for Volkswagen Rallycross DC, the third round of the 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross Series taking place on the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds June 21-22. The exciting 0.5-mile, combination tarmac and dirt course features 10 turns of varying radius and speed, and the famous Red Bull Global Rallycross jump.

“We think it’s pretty cool to offer professional racing right here in our nation’s capital, and certainly Volkswagen Rallycross DC will be one of the District’s most exciting events of the summer,” said Erik A. Moses, managing director of Events DC’s Sports and Entertainment Division. “Fans all around the RFK Stadium Festival Grounds will have great views of the race course.”

The two-day, action-packed event will feature live music, food, entertainment, a VIP club and plenty of great racing. The main event on Sun., June 22 airs live on NBC at 2 p.m. ET. For tickets and more information, please visit redbullglobalrallycross/dc or Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.

Event attendees are invited to bring non-perishable food items or toiletries to donate to SOME (So Others Might Eat), a D.C.-based charity dedicated to serving the poor and homeless in Washington, D.C. SOME barrels will be stationed at Festival Grounds entrances to accept all donations.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
