Pete was hit by a car this morning near the Congressional Cemetery on Capitol Hill. He ran away and has not been seen since so his condition is unknown. Pete is scared of strangers. He will bark but not bite. He’s a 70 lb hound mix. With information or a lead:541-285-3622”

    So sorry to hear that! Hope he’s found soon! Let me know if you end up having to go the dog tracker route (I know one who has assisted with some of our lost foster dogs, etc, and is great) or if you need any help flyering.     There was a sighting today at 3:30 at 19th and C, NE. Please keep an eye out if you’re in that area.

    Found swimming in the river: tired and with a minor leg injury, but he’s safe. Flyers helped.
