Crash - Rural Dog Rescue

Crash – Rural Dog Rescue
Crash, also known as Brutus, is a 3 year-old boxer mix from Rural Dog Rescue.  Crash is a great, well-behaved dog that gets along with other dogs, older kids, and will be a loyal family member.  His former family had three young children who accidently let him out to explore, so he has returned to us, so we can find him a home that won’t tempt him with doors left open.  You can apply to adopt Crash, or any of our animals, by sending the adoption application here.  To foster, please send the foster application here.  Our next adoption event is this Saturday, Aug. 30th, at Howl to the Chief from noon until 3pm.

Pickles - Homeward Trails

Pickles – Homeward Trails Animal Rescue
Pickles is a super-sweet 2 year-old Russian Blue look alike from Homeward Trails Animal Rescue.  With her outgoing and affectionate personality, it’s hard to to fall in love with her.  Pickles loves people, is good with children, and ignores her foster family’s dog.  If you’re interested in adopting Pickles, please fill out our cat adoption questionnaire and send it to Lois.  You can also meet some of our adoptable animals at one of our events!

Kayla - City Dogs Rescue

Kayla – City Dogs Rescue
Kayla is a playful and affectionate 1 year-old yellow lab mix from City Dogs Rescue.  She is good with other dogs and cats, loves everyone she meets, and was described as “an angel” by shelter staff.  Her foster family reports that does well in her crate during the day, sleeps quietly through the night, and has had no accidents!  You can apply to adopt Kayla or any of our available dogs on our adoption page, apply to foster one of our pups here, or meet some of our pups at one of our upcoming events!

Continues after the jump.

Babs - Homeward Trails

Babs – Tails High, Inc.
Babs is a sweet, friendly girl from Tails High, Inc.  Babs came from Accokeek along with many kittens and some adults who had been rescued, but their rescuer had to move and now she is looking for her forever home.  This cutie loves a good belly rub and always holds her tail curled over her side when she’s standing up, and she loves to play with toys and all of her foster friends.  If you would like to adopt Babs, please complete our adoption application on our website.  Babs is best met in her foster home, but you can visit us at one of our upcoming events!

Blake - Lucky Dog

Blake – Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

This handsome pup, Blake, is a 1-2 year old Vizsla mix Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.  Blake is an energetic pup that would be a great running or hiking buddy.  He has a ton of love to give and is hoping to find his forever person or, even better, one who already has a confident canine to help show him the ropes.  To adopt Blake, please fill out our adoption questionnaire (available here) and send it to Allison.  If you think he would be a good foster pup, please contact us here.  We have many adoptable animals, so please feel free come check us out at one of our events!
