Former Filene’s space on Connecticut Avenue
On July 15th a reader told us it looked like someone was coming to fill the Filene’s space in Friendship Heights ( 5300 Wisconsin Ave, NW). Washington Business Journal found out who’s coming:
“At Mazza Gallerie, a T.J. Maxx will move from next door to fill the vacant Filene’s storefront, according to permits issued in early July.”
and they also say the Filene’s space at the National Press Building (529 14th Street, NW) will be filled by a Marshalls. Still no word on who is coming to the 1133 Connecticut Ave, NW space pictured above. Stay tuned.
