Twin Peaks Brunch at the Blaguard: The Best Pie and Coffee in Washington

What: Local Roastery Qualia Coffee and local bakery Whisked! will offer gourmet coffee and pies during this one-day only brunch at The Blaguard. The experience will invoke the gustatory euphoria of Twin Peaks’ famous Double R Diner, serving the best pie and coffee in Washington. The one-day event will feature sweet and savory offerings from Whisked’s Jenna Huntsberger and hand-brewed, single-origin coffee from Qualia’s Joel Finkelstein. Come dressed as your favorite Twin Peaks character for special discounts. There will also be a selection of whole pies and bags of coffee available for sale in limited quantities. The Blaguard will also offer drink specials, including $4 mimosas. Patrons will be able to watch select episodes of Twin Peaks in the upstairs dining room.
Who: Qualia Coffee is a full-service coffee shop located in Petworth that also serves as the home of Fresh Off the Roast, a small-batch coffee roasting company dedicated to sourcing recently harvested beans from around the world. Whisked! is a local bakery specializing in sweet and savory pies, which sells online and at select DC farmers markets.
