The Know Your Neighborhood program series continues Wednesday at 6:30pm with a lecture and presentation by local historian Brian Kraft. He will present a sweeping view of the history of the Columbia Heights neighborhood that mirrors the history of Urban America. He will trace the neighborhood’s beginnings, physical development, demographic upheavals, and recent resurgence with maps, photos, and other images. Join us for “The Rise and Fall and Rise of Columbia Heights” in the meeting room on the main floor of the library.
