Join BloomBars and TransAfrica as we present a collection of short films by Namibian filmmaker, Vickson Hangula.

Place of Peace A film about missing people who, after a while, come back with a new vision of themselves and the world. Place of Peace takes the viewer to a mystic Namibia that can be for some a “place of peace.” (Directed by Vickson Hangula, 2012, 32 min, Drama, English).

Once We Were Hunters Hunting was essential for the survival of the Ju/hoansi Tribe. Director Vickson Hangula gives a voice to a member of this tribe so they can talk about the changes in their lives as modernization influences their traditions. (Directed by Vickson Hangula, 2011, 48 min, Docu-drama, English and Ju, with English subtitles).

After our film, we will have Q&A discussion with Namibian filmmaker Vickson Hangula.
