Well-loved longtime Mt. Pleasant resident and former bartender Nicole Hanhan puts her study of the human spirit under the lens Thursday, August 9, with her inaugural photo show “Folk”. Featuring work from recent travels through Central America; a residency in Medellin, Colombia; and moments stolen from American life; Hanhan’s portraits are a feast of color and texture strung together with wry humor and a deep understanding of the common thread that binds us all.
Folk, a photo exhibit by Nicole Hanhan will show at Tryst, August 9 to September 7, 2012. Don’t miss the opening cocktail party and a chance to meet the photographer: Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
