Listed District’s Phenomenal Finds Vol. 21 – More Good Stuff

Ellen Richardson, a graphic designer and Pleasant Plains resident, recently took her Craigslist hunting skills to the next level with the launch of her blog, Listed District. Listed District offers daily DC Craigslist findings of everything from Mid-Century and Industrial furniture, to bikes and the utterly strange.  Every week Ellen is going to share a roundup of some Phenomenal Finds with PoPville.

I love the vibrant color of this Blue & Chrome 1950s Dinette set ($49). Pick up this vintage, working Coldspot refrigerator ($175) to complete your 1950s kitchen. And just for good measure – get the kids to go low tech with this 1950s spring mounted Hobby Horse ($40).

Gunlocke! You can’t go wrong with these chairs – heavy, warm, masculine. This pair of Nail Head Trimmed Gunlocke Chairs ($100) is a steal, and this Banker’s Chair ($90) adds instant brains to any office.

And last but not least a set of fairly unrelated items: I’m obsessed with this 1970s Green Vinyl Bench ($300), this gorgeous Deco Iron Patio Chair $195), this amazingly cheap Canary Yellow 1950s Sofa ($100), and this heavy Lane Brutalist-Style Dresser ($1199).

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
