7:00pm – 10:00pm | FREE!The U Street Neighborhood Association with the Meridian Hill Neighborhood Association are putting on the U Street Movie Series for the third year. All proceeds go to the Friends of Harrison Recreation Center to improve the facility. Theme is Date Night in DC.
The first movie June 27th is DC Cab (an early Mr. T movie). Netflix describes this as “An over-the-hill hippie manages a run-down cab company and its oddball drivers — an aspiring pimp, a Rastafarian and a driver with no license. It’s even money whether this motley crew will be able to save the company, much less their jobs.”
Marvin is providing a DJ before the movie so come join us at 7:00, June 27th, Harrison Recreation Center (1300 V St NW), movie will start at sundown.
