PoP Pho Patrol: Owner of Pho 14 To Open 2nd Restaurant in Adams Morgan

1769 Columbia Rd, NW

Dear PoPville,

I just noticed that there is a new construction permit up at the old Pizza Hut location on 1769 Columbia Road. The Permit is for alterations by owner and the owner is listed as Tommy Hoang. A quick google of Tommy Hoang + DC shows that he is behind Pho 14.

Pizza Hut closed at 1769 Columbia Rd, NW back in Aug. 2011. Pho 14 is the super popular joint at 1436 Park Rd, NW in Columbia Heights. You can see their menu here.

The owner Mr. Hoang writes me:

“To us, it has been a true honor and privilege to have served the Columbia Heights community for the past years, we hope to continue to promote our culture and food throughout other locations in the District.”

CityPaper reported yesterday that they plan on opening in late summer/early fall. Updates as construction progresses. Great news for Adams Morgan!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
