Dear PoPville,
Just noticed some work going on at this building at the corner of Vermont and V St, NW. While this may just be another improvement to avoid the dreaded abandoned building tax (just like the windows on the second floor), I couldn’t help but notice that the For Sale sign is gone as well.
My hope is that a skilled reader in PoPville may be able to dig something up to see if this property has gone through any recent changes.
I also thought it was cool to see the glass beneath the boards. Looks like this used to be a Glidden paint store, which explains the oval void on the wall where there used to be a sign.
