Your Afternoon Animal Fix – Help Find Lost Cat

If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool with your pets name and neighborhood. I can’t guarantee I’ll get them all posted but I’ll do my best.

“My friend’s cat ran away last week. Her name is Lise (Leeza) and she is an indoor cat. She is about 8 lbs, grey shorthair with very light stripes and a white chest and belly. She has extremely blue eyes and is very sweet. She darted out of my friend’s house in Cap Hill East (near 15th and Kentucky SE) last week. She is not wearing a tag. Please call James if you see her at 202-957-2630.”

“This is our 1 1/2 year old female German Shepherd Mix named Seneca… Staying cool at her grandparents house in the kiddie pool they bought for her!

We live in Petworth”

Stone & Smalls is an awesome shot … even though I am partial to GSDs. Seneca is C.U.T.E!

Lol Seneca is living the good life!

    Also love Stone and Smalls!

I love Stone and Smalls! We see them all the time in Lincoln Park.

What a beautiful cat. I hope she finds her way home soon. My cat went missing in Mt. Pleasant for a couple of days and when I finally found him, he was hiding in the entryway of a vacant basement apartment just two row houses down. Please keep us updated!

    Yeah Seneca!

  • BF

Best of luck with finding your cat. I know its excruciating to have a missing pet.

  • H Street Landlord

Hope you find your cat. I know that’s the worst feeling.

Tell James that it is worth putting up little fliers with Lise’s photo around the neighborhood. My own cat has gotten out several times, and I was surprised at how many neighbors took the time to call me when they saw him. I think they see the signs as they’re walking dogs, etc, and it’s fresh in their memory. Good luck!
