Just about everyone is familiar with Mount Vernon and Bloomingdale neighborhoods these days, although have you really had a chance to explore some of the great real estate opportunities around and about these NW places?

Across Bloomingdale you are struck by the laid back pace of things while hanging out at Big Bear Cafe and then wondering over to the Farmers Market to grab some farm fresh produce. Well that is Bloomingdale and with so many great Victorian style buildings (now condos) in the area it reminds you of what things might have been like a century ago.

As for Mount Vernon Square, one of the communities which has undergone a fairly dramatic transformation with the revitalized convention center district in the middle, a surge in amenities has made its way across the community with new bars and cafes lining themselves up on either side of the convention center.

The tours are a great way to see a cross-section of the condo options available in each neighborhood, as well as getting a feel for the neighborhoods themselves. Both tours are free and there is no required commitment, which means attendees can just relax, ask questions, and learn.

The Green DC Realty Team will be holding condo tours in each of the neighborhoods at 11am and 1pm ( both tours will be held twice ).

“The goal is to provide folks on the tour an easy, valuable way to get to know the real estate of a neighborhood but without the usual pressure to buy a home,” said Green DC Realty’s Mike Kiefer. This weekend’s tours are part of a weekly series. Email Mike to learn what neighborhoods future tours will feature.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
