    Love it!

  • I like it too, PoPs, but I’m thinking that MIGHT be Forest Hills. Neighborhood boundaries can be debated endlessly and hard for non-residents to grasp at all. Have you ever hosted such a debate, like where is the western boundary of Petworth or the northern boundary of Col Hts?

Oh lord – BRIAN! What are you thinking! Throwing gasoline on the fire here!

(Yeah, last time he did that it went on a while and nobody agreed on anything.)

    • Prince Of Petworth
      • Good times! How’s I miss that?! I wrote a chapter on CH history in the second edition of Washington At Home, which is just out. (You’ll love it, PoPs. Event Saturday at 1 at Politics & Prose!) In it I address the historical and racial nature of the PP/CHts/MtP names. I always defer to and am interested in the neighborhood identity that residents have.

  • This is my dream type of house (a more realistic kind) in my sorta dream hood. Detached and with a garage.

Nothing “north” about this house. It’s on Lowell Street, in the middle of the Cleveland Park Historic District
