From CH Listserv:

I just got an update on the Halloween event at Trolley Turnaround Park (11th and Monroe).

I heard from the organizer who said:
“It’s going to be Saturday the 31st at 4:30 in the park. If you’re free and would like to join us, please come in costume. We’ll do a parade around the block and then a costume contest.”

“Just wanted to let you know what’s up with Nouveau Riche this Saturday at DC9… should be a great time!

– We did a “Halloween Rave” two years ago and that was the first Nouveau Riche party that was really packed and insane, so we’re excited to do it again

– This party is a great deal for people on a budget — no cover from 9-10pm and there’s free (original!) Sparks and free 42 Below Vodka drinks

– We’re going to be playing classic rave music all night… jungle, acid, happy hardcore, etc etc etc

– Baltimore’s video artist Mark Brown (of Wham City) is coming down to do live VJing all night, plus he’s going to drop a DJ set. Check his website, he’s awesome

– It’s a costume party”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
