This if from a Church near my house at the corner of Illinois and Taylor. A neighbor told me that there was actually a bit of a protest going on where the police responded but sadly I was sleeping off some Cutty Sark and sodas. There must’ve been a couple hundred folks celebrating at this church.
Wikipedia says:
“The Ethiopian Church celebrates his feast on 28 December, with a sizeable number of its believers making a pilgrimage to a church dedicated to “Saint Gabriel” in Kulubi on that day.”
