Located just a few steps, no pun intended, from the awesome firebox conversions on Decatur Place in Kalorama. I’ll have to go back in Spring, per SG’s recommendation, to get them in their full glory. I can’t believe it’s taken me 11 years to find these…

    Yes, these are greatly hidden. I stumbled upon them one Spring on a walk and loved the fact that they are so understated.

    I’ve spent the last hour obsessing over this, trying to find it via maps.live.com. Finally thought to check the street view function of maps.google.com and found it. It’s at Decatur Place and 22nd facing north.
