“My favorite place in DC is my studio/house. Fischer my cat shares it with me and several other young non-political types in Columbia Heights/Parkview. I took this picture last spring on one of the first days I was able to leave my window open. From my studio I can see Georgia Avenue and a very heavily traveled alley. Its a short cut to Cluck-U Chicken and the H2 Bus Stop. In winter I draw my shades but the sounds of the Georgia Ave never leave with the seasons. Its bus after bus and an occasional ambulance. A couple months ago I went to visit my parents on their quiet farm in New Hampshire. I had to take a fist full of TylenolPMs to fall asleep.”
