Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 3-4 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit.

I want pics of Rusty the Red Panda. Enough with these common housepets.

  • Oh my gosh Lucy is adorable! And I love how Grady blends in perfectly with his black and white pillow 🙂

  • Nola looks like she’s having fun, but I’d advise a bit of caution about letting her take a swim in Rock Creek. Raw sewage regularly goes into the creek after heavy rains, which is why you’ll see “No Swimming” signs around the creek. There are potentially lots of pathogens that could wind up on or inside Nola, so please be careful.

Lucy looks like a good dog! Love them all!

  • A word to the wise that my vet told me years ago: be careful of micro organisms in Rock Creek. They can really make a dog sick, especially after all the rain we had yesterday and all the runoff from all over Maryland and DC going from the streets right into the creek.

Take it for what it’s worth.

  • I love Lucy. She don’t care. She don’t care.

  • Swimming in raw sewage–I love it!
