You’d think so but when it takes the cops awhile to show up and someone wears a mask….it’s harder to take care of things. I walked by with my dog shortly after the robbery and a few cops were inside asking questions and two were standing outside the door. There was no one in custody. I’ve called the cops a few times about suspicious people/things in the neighborhood and they never show. I partially blame the dispatchers who hang up on me multiple times when I dial 911 and then don’t even know where the intersection of Mass Ave NW and 6th St NW are even though there is a police station two blocks away – they should be better trained. Not impressed.
