Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos or news please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool. I can’t guarantee I’ll get them all posted but I’ll do my best.

“Here’s a photo of Mazie (formerly Noel) adopted from Lucky Dog Animal Rescue one year ago – just in time for snowmaggedon. Quite a change from her former home in a rural SC shelter! She’s part border collie, part spaniel, and part never-ending cuteness:)”

Finally, a fish submission!

Found chihuahua with collar after the jump.

“Dear PoP,

Last night I found a lost dog (who almost got hit by a car!) on the 1300 block of Meridian Place, NW in Columbia Heights. She is a chihuahua mix and has a brown coat and a pink collar. She is very sweet and seemed to beused to people. I took her to the NY Avenue Shelter. Her picture is attached. If anyone is missing a dog, please contact the Humane Society.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
