Young Archaeologists’ Club

Explore archaeology through games, puzzles, crafts, and teamwork! Young Archaeologists’ Club is a free, hands-on educational opportunity instructed by professional archaeologists and educators. Locations, topics, dates, and times vary from May to August, 2026. Activities are designed for ages 8-14. Younger students may attend when accompanied by an adult. Registration for all participants is required.

The first session will be held at the Takoma Park Neighborhood Library on May 9. Each session begins with a 30-minute introduction activity to archaeology and archaeological careers for students who have not participated in Young Archaeologists’ Club before.

Archaeology in the Community is a DC nonprofit dedicated to connecting all learners to heritage and archaeological science.
