Letters from Venus is a DC-based indie jazz pop trio performing original songs written by lead singer Daniela Nagar. Drawn from her own life, Daniela’s lyrics are anything but subtle and have been known to jerk some tears from time to time. Venus members’ favorite songs to perform include Better, Choose Love, and Kate from Iowa. The band’s influences include Lake Street Dive, Olivia Rodrigo, and Norah Jones. The combination of Donnie’s fingerpicking guitar solos, Daniela’s soulful belting and keyboard jams, and Rose’s euphoric violin runs will leave you begging for more!

Sec Anders is an indie soul artist and keyboardist based in Washington, DC, whose sound blends groove-driven funk, reflective lyricism, and experimental production. Drawing inspiration from artists like Childish Gambino, Toro y Moi, and Sly & the Family Stone, he fuses soulful melodies with textured beats to create music that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Since teaming up with a band of local musicians in 2023, Sec has expanded his sound into a dynamic live experience that balances his roots in bedroom production with an evolving, collaborative approach to soulful and experimental performance.

Sadia is a Maryland-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and music director dedicated to creating diverse sonic works, with captivating vocals, potent lyrics and a powerful delivery. Her work has been performed at venues throughout the Baltimore and DC areas, featured in films, and most notably, featured on NPR’s All Things Considered.
