Come learn about life at Takoma Village Cohousing in Washington, DC, a thriving multigenerational community where residents know and support each other.
Join our in-person tour on Sunday, September 20, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. The event is FREE, but registration is required. Sign up to attend at the Washington DC Area Cohousing Meetup or on Eventbrite. Links are on our website (www.TakomaVillage.org).
During the tour we’ll provide a comprehensive introduction to Takoma Village, make plenty of time for Q&A, lead a walk-through of our community’s extensive common facilities, and peek inside a couple of homes. Light refreshments will be served.
Whether you’re someone looking to raise a family, a singleton in search of community, or an environmentalist interested in green living, the cohousing experience has something to offer you.
If you think you’d like to live at Takoma Village, check out the Guide for Prospective Residents on our website. Please also email us ([email protected]) to request a schedule of meetings, meals, and work days you can attend to learn more about us.
You can take public transportation to the tour. We’re two blocks from the Takoma Station on Metro’s Red Line. Street parking is also available in the neighborhood.
NOTE: This is the last in-person tour this year. Virtual tours will be offered online in December 2026 and in March 2027.
