Now in the festival's 13th year, we are bringing you a hybrid film festival with virtual screenings for 29 films via Eventive, and four in-person screenings in Washington, DC the first and second weekends of October.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of film exploring the unique experiences of refugees ranging from Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Malawi to the the Polish-Belarusian border to the fantasy world of a child's mind. While all three films explore the refugee experience, they also tell stories of people navigating grief, moral dilemmas, and finding hope and celebration through difficult circumstances.
We’ll be hosting a discussion following the screening with Laura Osuri, Executive Director of Homes Not Borders, and William Evans, Policy Analyst at US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
