Two of central Virginia’s favorite bands head north to DC for a high energy night of woman-fronted music. Charlottesville-based Ramona and the Holy Smokes bring a new generation of honky tonk, blending traditional country and western styles with Ramona Martinez’s recognition as a Latino artist shaping the genre. They are joined by Richmond’s HOTPANTS, an Americana rock outfit known for blending southern sass with classic rock punch and folk sweetness. Expect ripping guitar licks and heartfelt songwriting.
