Emmett McLaughlin got his start playing on the gritty streets of the Bronx, the sandy beaches of Queens, and the dusty bars of New York City. He honed his skills while at school in Virginia, and has now recruited friends from up and down the East Coast to join him in Nashville as a backing band: “The Dead Ends”. With their unique sound “Jamicana”, a blend of the Americana and folk present in Emmett’s songwriting and the Rock n’ Roll heritage of his band members, Emmett and the Dead Ends have lit up the underground scene in the Southeast as they perform with a mix of explosive melodies, vibrating rhythms, and dynamic stage-presence.
